It came as a bit of a shock to me to realise that my baby bump didn't magically disappear the moment my daughter arrived in the world. Unlike the celebs you see who seem to melt away the baby fat, mine liked me so much it hung around for months.

 

Another unpleasant surprise was how much decent maternity clothes cost. Since then though, I've found a few great resources for fashionable and affordable clothes for that pregnant pause in every women's wardrobe. SO... even though I went through my pregnancy skint, wearing my husband's shirts and boxers and feeling like a hippopotamus, YOU won't have too.

 

By the way, Fun Mum, which just so happens to have a brilliant sale on now is a great place to find fashionable, elegant and even sexy maternity clothes. I picked up some lovely tops there for my pregnant friend and she loved them. Good call. It stood me in good stead through the hormonal and weepy stage. ;)
